World Cup 2010

For one glorious month, the eyes of the world carefully track a spherical object. Wherever it goes, stars follow. Its flight, defying the laws of gravity, is full of surprises. From country to country, people watch breathlessly to see if their predictions come true. It brings determination and despair, euphoria and disappointment -- and everything in between. And it all takes place on Planet Earth, this year in South Africa.

At the 2010 World Cup, thirty-two teams will test their skills. Two are from Southeast Europe. Will Greece build on its triumph at Euro 2004? Will Serbia live up to its promise? Follow their progress here on SETimes as we bring you team profiles, interviews, on-the-ground coverage and more!
