Serbia arrests weapons smugglers

BELGRADE, Serbia -- The Security and Information Agency (BIA) announced on Friday (September 10th) the arrests of seven people, as well as the seizure of weapons and explosives believed to have been bound for France. French security forces detained three members of the same group in Paris, the BIA said, as part of an operation aimed at smashing an international weapons trafficking network. Authorities say further investigations are under way. (Tanjug, AFP - 10/09/10)
