10/09/2010

PODGORICA, Montenegro -- More than 300 US service members and Montenegrin armed forces members kicked off a military exercise Thursday (September 9th) dubbed Medical Central and Eastern Europe Exercise 2010 (MEDCEUR 2010). The defence ministry says it's the biggest military exercise held in Montenegro so far and is the 10th annual NATO Partnership for Peace Joint Chiefs of Staff-sponsored medical training exercise. It provides instruction to medical personnel from partner nations confronted with natural disasters that affect large numbers of people. The exercise ends on September 22nd.
