LJUBLJANA, Slovenia -- The government adopted a declaration on the Western Balkan countries and a roadmap for Ljubljana's activities to strengthen regional relations and co-operation late Thursday (March 11th). Foreign Minister Samuel Zbogar said that the document describes the Western Balkans as a diplomatic priority. A special committee on the Western Balkans will be established to draft an action plan for Slovenia within the region, and a national co-ordinator will be appointed to monitor Ljubljana's activities in Macedonia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Albania and Kosovo.
