US to withdraw 570 troops from Kosovo

PRISTINA, Kosovo -- The United States plans to draw down 570 troops from its peacekeeping mission in Kosovo over the next two months, local media reported on Wednesday (March 10th). By the end of May, the Multinational Brigade East will have around 830 US soldiers, sufficient to continue the mission in Kosovo, a senior US officer, Dan Murphy, was quoted as saying.
