10/03/2010

SARAJEVO, Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) -- The Council of Ministers appointed Himzo Selimovic as head of the Directorate for Co-ordination of Police Bodies and named Uros Pena and Mile Juric as his deputies Tuesday (March 9th). Prime Minister Nikola Spiric said that in doing so, BiH has fulfilled the last condition of the EU visa liberalisation roadmap. The country hopes to be included in the EU's visa-free regime as of July. The government also named members of a working group that will draft amendments to the constitution and the election law, in accordance with a recent ruling by the European Court of Human Rights.
