Kosovo to establish task force against corruption, organised crime

11/02/2010

PRISTINA, Kosovo -- The government and EULEX will soon establish a task force to fight organised crime and corruption. The international community had expressed strong concern over the the rule of law in Kosovo. "The task force consists of local and international prosecutors and police officers who will exclusively deal with organised crime and corruption," Deputy Prime Minister Hajredin Kuci confirmed on Wednesday (February 10th). France, the UK, Italy, Germany and the US want visible and quick results in order to continue support for the integration of Serb-dominated northern Kosovo.
