Leftist and ultra-right protestors clash in Greece

ATHENS, Greece -- Leftist demonstrators and ultra-right activists clashed in Athens on Saturday (January 23rd) during a rally against racism and discrimination of immigrants. The event took place after a recent arson at a club where members of leftist organisations gathered. At the rally, ultra-right agitators armed with metal rods attacked the protestors. Police arrested 44 of the attackers. (RIA Novosti - 23/01/10)
