NATO HQ gets new commander

SARAJEVO, Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) -- US Brigadier General John Bullard became commander of NATO Headquarters in BiH, taking over from Italian predecessor Ericco Sabatto during a ceremony Friday (January 15th). Bullard said that the Alliance's headquarters in Sarajevo will continue supporting BiH's defence ministry and army in efforts to join NATO. Sabatto noted that BiH has made progress in reforming its defence sector. (B92, Beta - 16/01/10; Dnevni Avaz, Fena - 15/01/10)
