Albania's Topalli asks EU for visa-free travel, aid

BRUSSELS, Belgium -- Parliament Speaker Jozefina Topalli asked EU officials on Wednesday (January 13th) to remove visa barriers for Albanian citizens and to provide aid to the flood-hit northwest region of Shkodra. Topalli was in Brussels to meet the head of the European Parliament Delegation for Relations with Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro and Kosovo to discuss the processes of EU integration and visa liberalisation, which is expected to occur quickly.
