Serbia to deliver EU membership application Tuesday

BELGRADE, Serbia -- President Boris Tadic will submit Serbia's EU membership application Tuesday (December 22nd) to authorities in Sweden, current holder of the rotating EU presidency. Swedish Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt said in a statement Saturday that Serbia has made a historic step, by deciding to apply for EU membership. (Tanjug, RTS - 20/12/09; Beta - 19/12/09)
