Macedonian police seize 44kg of heroin

SKOPJE, Macedonia -- Police announced on Wednesday (November 25th) they have intercepted 44kg of high-quality heroin allegedly destined for the Italian market. The heroin is worth more than 2m euros. Police say they found it Tuesday night in a truck travelling from Turkey, via Greece. Eight Macedonian citizens were arrested. Weapons and ammunitions were seized as well.
