Kosovo reports third swine flu death

PRISTINA, Kosovo -- The ministry of health confirmed on Monday (November 23rd) a third death caused by the H1N1 virus. The victim, a 37- year-old woman from Gjakova/Gjakovica municipality, died on Sunday. Ministry officials said that she had suffered a chronic disease. Kosovo has reported 98 H1N1 cases so far. The first group of vaccines arrived at the weekend, donated by Turkey, while 100,000 doses of the flu treatment Tamiflu -- pledged by the World Health Organisation -- are expected to arrive in early December.
