Tito's grandson heads new Communist Party of Serbia

BELGRADE, Serbia -- Josip Broz, the grandson of former Yugoslavian communist leader Josip Broz Tito, was elected on Sunday (November 22nd) as leader of a newly established Communist Party of Serbia. "I am certain that we will be able to collect 10,000 signatures to register our party," Broz was quoted as saying by local media. He added that the party will be a modern leftist political formation that would support EU integration. (Blic, RTS, RIA Novosti - 22/11/09)
