Kosovo Serb sentenced for inciting hatred

PRISTINA, Kosovo -- A panel led by EULEX judges at the District Court of Mitrovica North sentenced a Kosovo Serb to more than to six years in prison Thursday (November 19th) for inciting hatred, discord or intolerance and attempted aggravated murder. Predrag Djordjevic was arrested on June 14th 2008 for shooting a Kosovo police officer in Mitrovica South. Djordjevic was also accused of placing the Serbian flag at a mosque in the southern part of Mitrovica. (Lajm, Koha Ditore, Express - 20/11/09; KLAN Kosova, RTK, Kohavision - 19/11/09)
