Macedonian police arrest serial killer

SKOPJE, Macedonia -- Police announced on Monday (November 9th) that they have identified a 28-year-old man as the perpetrator of four murders and three attempted murders. Viktor Karamarkov has allegedly used an axe to kill four elderly women for their jewellery. The murders, in Skopje, spanned the last eight months. Karamarkov, a drug addict, was arrested late last month. If convicted, he could face up to life in prison. (Makfax, A1, MIA, Sitel, Alsat - 09/11/09)
