Tunnel collapses on Tirana-Kosovo highway

TIRANA, Albania -- The Ministry of Transport confirmed on Saturday (November 7th) a partial collapse inside a tunnel on the newly built highway linking Tirana and Kosovo. No injuries were reported. The US-Turkish consortium Bechtel and Enka had stopped tunnel traffic completely last month to complete construction by the beginning of 2010.
