Serb families to return to western Kosovo

PRISTINA, Kosovo -- The western Kosovo municipality of Istog has approved a plan for the return of 30 Serb families to the area, local media reported on Thursday (July 30th). The head of the working group on returns, Bedri Hasani, said more than twice that number of families have applied to return. The municipality, in co-operation with the European Commission Liaison Office and the ministry of returns, will start building houses for them. (Lajm, Kosova Sot, Zeri, Epoka e Re - 30/07/09)
