Croatia tightens control over diplomats' spending

ZAGREB, Croatia -- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration says it has turned up irregularities in activities of the Croatian mission to the UN. In a statement Saturday (June 20th), the ministry announced that it has tightened control over the mission's spending. Media reports suggest that head of the mission Neven Jurica will be removed from his post for financial abuse to the tune of several hundred thousand euros.
