Two Kosovo police officers suspended over drug theft incident

PRISTINA, Kosovo -- Police head Sheremet Ahmeti ordered the suspension Monday (May 4th) of two police officers -- a lieutenant colonel and a major -- for the theft of 47kg of heroin from an evidence room last week. Police spokesperson Arber Beka said the two officers were suspended for violating administrative and managerial rules.
