Former SRS official Nikolic registers new party

BELGRADE, Serbia -- Former deputy leader of the Serbian Radical Party (SRS) Tomislav Nikolic announced on Friday (October 10th) that his new Serb Progressive Party (SNS) is officially registered. Nikolic and former SRS Secretary-General Aleksandar Vucic submitted the documents required to register the party with the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self Government, including more than 10,000 signatures from the public. Nikolic says the SNS will soon become the strongest party in Serbia. (Pravda - 11/10/08; Tanjug, B92, DPA, Beta, RTRS - 10/10/08)
