Bulgaria's security agency reportedly investigates journalists

SOFIA, Bulgaria -- The National Security Agency has investigated a wide range of journalists, according to Eliana Maseva, a member of parliament's Committee for Internal Control. She said on Thursday (October 2nd) that NSA Director Petko Sertov ordered the operation in August to plug information leaks at the agency. Last month, a scandal erupted over claims that the agency has been illegally tapping personal phones of several lawmakers and businessmen for political purposes.
