Ship sinks off Bulgarian Black Sea coast; Somali pirates seize Greek tanker

SOFIA, Bulgaria/ATHENS, Greece -- A Russian or Ukrainian freighter carrying scrap metal sank in Bulgarian waters off the Black Sea coast on Saturday (September 27th), maritime officials announced. According to media reports, all members of the crew are missing.

Meanwhile, Somali pirates seized on Saturday a Greek tanker, the third such incident involving a Greek vessel in the past couple of weeks, the Greek merchant marine ministry announced.
