Albania thanks United States for approval of NATO protocol

TIRANA, Albania -- Prime Minister Sali Berisha on Wednesday (September 24th) thanked the United States, following the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee's move to sign the protocol for Albania and Croatia's NATO membership. "The decision proves our friends' trust in Albania and the Albanian people," Berisha said at a cabinet meeting.
