Bulgarian ruling coalition to start talks on majority-voting system

SOFIA, Bulgaria -- The three ruling parties are expected to start negotiations on introducing elements of a majority-voting system for the next general elections, according to media reports Tuesday (September 16th). The first meeting of the Bulgarian Socialist Party, the Movement for Rights and Freedoms and the National Movement for Simeon II takes place later this week. The existing system is proportional.
