Kosovo's foreign minister meets with IMF delegation to discuss membership

PRISTINA, Kosovo -- Foreign Minister Skender Hyseni met with an IMF delegation on Thursday (August 28th) in Pristina to start Kosovo's accession process. Hyseni promised the full commitment of all institutions in the new state to fulfill the necessary membership criteria. Kosovo applied for membership in the IMF and the World Bank earlier this year, after declaring independence in February. (RTK, Kosovalive, TV 21 - 28/08/08)
