SARAJEVO, Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) -- High Representative Miroslav Lajcak and BiH Prime Minister Nikola Spiric agreed on Thursday (August 21st) that the country should make every effort to secure a positive assessment of its EU progress in the European Commission's (EC) next report, due in November. Meeting in Sarajevo, Lajcak told Spiric that during this weekend's meeting of leaders of the six main political parties in the country, he will try to secure their commitment to find a legal solution to the state property issue. Lajcak added that establishing a Fiscal Council would be in everyone's interest and would facilitate budget planning. (RTRS, SRNA, OHR - 21/08/08)
