Police clash with former Serbian army reservists

BELGRADE, Serbia -- Former Serbian reservists on Monday (August 11th) tried to cross the administrative line with Kosovo at the Mardare checkpoint, but police stopped them. Five of the soldiers suffered injuries in the ensuing clash. Army reservists from 22 southern Serbian municipalities participated in the protest, aimed at removing a sign reading "Kosovo Republic".
