ANKARA, Turkey -- An explosion along the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline in eastern Turkey caused a fire and cut the oil flow through the pipeline early Wednesday (August 6th), media reported. It happened in a pump at a section near the eastern town of Refahiye in Erzincan province. Local authorities blamed a system failure, not sabotage. Authorities are working to contain the fire.
