Croatia starts NATO accession talks

BRUSSELS, Belgium -- Following an invitation earlier this month, Croatia starts the first round of its NATO accession talks on Monday (April 21st), with membership expected in a year. During this first round, political and military issues will be discussed, along with the country's progress in meeting NATO membership criteria.
