President officially nominates Djukanovic as Montenegrin prime minister

PODGORICA, Montenegro -- President Filip Vujanovic officially nominated ruling Democratic Party of Socialists leader Milo Djukanovic as prime minister on Wednesday (February 20th). Next week, parliament will hold a vote of confidence to confirm him for the post. Djukanovic has already served four terms as prime minister and once as president. Outgoing Prime Minister Zeljko Sturanovic resigned late last month because of lung cancer. (Vijesti - 21/02/08; RTCG, Mina, Vijesti - 20/02/08)
