BUCHAREST, Romania -- The flood alert imposed at the weekend was lowered on Sunday (August 12th), local press reported. Officials lifted code orange warnings in 29 provinces, but maintained cold yellow alerts for 29 counties. Most of the alerts are in Transylvania, where the risk of flooding and landslides remains.
