Haradinaj ordered to return to ICTY by February 26th

THE HAGUE, Netherlands -- Former Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) member and ex-Kosovo premier Ramush Haradinaj has been ordered to return to the UN war crimes tribunal's (ICTY) detention unit by February 26th, according to an ICTY statement on Friday (February 2nd). The statement informed that the trial against Haradinaj and other two former KLA members Idriz Balaj and Lahi Brahimaj will begin on March 5th. Haradinaj has been indicted for crimes against Serbian civilians during the Kosovo conflict. He has been on provisional release since June 2005. (Tanjug, Beta - 02/02/07)
