Poll suggests that Radicals remain most popular party in Serbia

BELGRADE, Serbia -- A new poll by the Strategic Marketing agency finds that the ultranationalist Serbian Radical Party (SRS) remains the most popular political party in Serbia, with the reformist Democratic Party four points behind. According to results released on Monday (7 August), SRS enjoys the support of 35 per cent of the voters, followed by the main opposition Democratic Party with 31 per cent. The senior partner in the currently ruling coalition, the Democratic Party of Serbia, is backed by 11 per cent, followed by the Serbian Socialist Party with around 5 per cent.
