Strong quake jolts Greece, Turkey

ATHENS, Greece -- A strong earthquake jolted parts of Greece and Turkey on Monday (17 October) but no injuries or serious damage were reported. The tremor, measuring around 6 on the Richter scale, was felt in western Turkey, including Izmir, the country's third largest city, and on the Greek islands of Samos, Ikaria and Chios.
