Moisiu Encourages More Swiss Investment in Albania

BERN, Switzerland -- During a visit to Switzerland Monday (21 March), Albanian President Alfred Moisiu called for increased investment in his country, especially in tourism and infrastructure. Moisiu and Swiss counterpart Samuel Shmid also praised the current state of bilateral relations in the defence and cultural sectors.

In other news, Council of Europe Congress President Giovanni di Stasi arrives for a two-day visit to Tirana on Tuesday. He will meet with Moisiu and other officials. (Albanian government Web site, CoE Web site - 21/03/05)
