Election Summary
Croatia held parliamentary elections on 23 November 2003. The Croatia Democratic Union (HDZ) won 66 seats in parliament, with 34 per cent of the vote. The Social Democratic Party of Croatia SDP) came in second, with 23 per cent of the vote and 43 seats. The Croatia People's Party (HNS) won 8 per cent of the vote and 8 seats in parliament. The remaining votes were split between the other parties in the elections. Voter turnout was 62 per cent.
