ROME, Italy -- Croatian President Ivo Josipovic received the Galileo 2000 Special Prize for Peace in Florence on Monday (May 9th). He was honoured for his contribution to the promotion of human rights and international justice, as well as for his commitment to the European vision of Southeast Europe. "The most important task of all politicians should be the fight for peace," Josipovic said at the ceremony, adding he dedicated the award to all victims of war. (Index.hr, tportal.hr - 09/05/11)
