Bulgarian police arrest 73 illegal immigrants

SOFIA, Bulgaria -- The interior ministry announced the arrest of 73 illegal immigrants from southern Asia, at the border with Greece on Wednesday (July 21st). The group, including immigrants from Afghanistan, Pakistan and Sri Lanka, was in a Bulgarian-registered truck travelling to Hungary. They were found on Tuesday in a secret air-conditioned compartment. (Reuters, Trud, Focus, Darik - 21/07/10)
