Powerful bomb explodes near Greek parliament

ATHENS, Greece -- A strong bomb exploded on Saturday (January 9th) outside the parliament building in downtown Athens, causing damage but no injuries. Shortly before, an anonymous caller phoned the Eleftherotypia newspaper to warn of the bomb, planted in a rubbish bin. (Reuters, BBC, CNN, DPA - 09/01/10)
