ANKARA, Turkey -- The Health Ministry announced on Thursday (October 29th) that two more people have died of swine flu, bring the total number to three. Both the latest victims were women in their 30's, one in Diyarbakir, the other in Konya. The first victim, who died a week ago, was a hospital worker.
In northern Greece meanwhile, authorities announced on Thursday ten new cases of the H1N1 virus among students. Seven are in Yanitsa, and the rest are in Thessaloniki and Kilkis. All seem to be recovering at home. (AP, Hurriyet, Focus - 29/10/09)
