BUCHAREST, Romania -- US Vice President Joe Biden made a daylong visit to Bucharest on Thursday (October 22nd). He met with key political leaders and reiterated US support for a transit pipeline in Romania. During talks with President Traian Basescu, he said Romania remains a strong ally and thanked the government for supporting his country's new anti-missile project in Europe.
