Montenegro to officially submit application for EU membership

PODGORICA, Montenegro -- Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic will hand over Montenegro's application for EU membership during a meeting with French counterpart Nicolas Sarkozy, whose country holds the EU's rotating presidency, in Paris on Monday (December 15th). Foreign Minister Milan Rocen says the government decided on Thursday to officially submit its request to join the bloc, based on an agreement with European partners.
