Kidnappers free Bulgarian football club president but abduct his wife

SOFIA, Bulgaria -- The president of the Bulgarian football club Litex, Angel Bonchev, whom kidnappers seized on May 22nd, was released on Friday (July 11th). Authorities found him in Sofia. However, Interior Minister Mihail Mikov confirmed media reports that kidnappers abducted Bonchev's wife in turn while she was paying her husband's ransom. (BNR, BNT, BTA, BGNES - 11/07/08)
