SARAJEVO, Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) -- The Southeastern European Police Chief Association (SEPCA) wraps up a two-day seminar Friday (May 9th) in Sarajevo about fighting organised crime. Brigadier General Vincenzo Coppola, head of the EU Police Mission (EUPM) in BiH, told participants that success depends on persistent efforts. He offered two suggestions aimed at strengthening the fight against organised crime -- improve co-ordination among different police agencies and establish a better system of communication and collaboration between police and prosecutors. Representatives from Bulgaria, BiH, Montenegro, Croatia, Macedonia, Romania and Serbia and international organisations attended the seminar. (Dnevni Avaz - 09/05/08; Fena - 08/05/08)
