Montenegrin police arrest alleged arms smugglers from BiH

PODGORICA, Montenegro -- Police have arrested two citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) on charges of arms smuggling, Dnevni Avaz newspaper reported on Friday (March 28th). Semi-automatic rifles, sniper rifles and scopes, as well as various calibre ammunitions were seized in the raid. Police did not identify the suspects but said they are searching for three others. The group reportedly smuggled large quantities of weapons from BiH into Montenegro. (Dnevni Avaz, Balkan Insight - 28/03/08)
