SARAJEVO, Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) -- A joint session of the BiH Parliament's two chambers formally closed the celebrations commemorating the 10th anniversary of the Dayton Peace Accords. Members of the BiH presidency, the BiH Council of Ministers, international representatives and foreign diplomats, and top BiH political and religious officials attended Tuesday's (20 December) session. In a speech, BiH House of Representatives Chairman Nikola Spiric stressed that Dayton's greatest success was ending the conflict in BiH. A new phase in the building of BiH must begin, he added.
In other news, Principal Deputy High Representative Larry Butler visits Banja Luka on Wednesday. His office says he will call again for Republika Srpska to stop obstructing reforms. (Nezavisne novine, Dnevni avaz - 21/12/05; RTRS, OHR Sources - 20/12/05)
