NATO Interrogates Bosnian Serb Suspected of Supporting War Criminals

SARAJEVO, Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) -- NATO Headquarters in BiH announced Friday (17 December) that NATO has interrogated a Bosnian Serb, Vladimir Ilic, who is suspected of supporting indicted war criminals in BiH. According to the statement, Ilic was arrested by the Republika Srpska (RS) police in the Bijeljina area. A Bosnian Serb court previously convicted him in absentia to twelve years in prison for murdering a policeman.

In other news, on Saturday, EUFOR completed its inspection of Bosnian Serb Army facilities in Han Pijesak in eastern RS. Some facilities were reportedly sealed. (Nezavisne novine, PBS BiH - 18/12/04; Pincom.info, Fena, NTV Hayat - 17/12/04)
